Woman shares impressive weight loss transformation with ‘little changes’ to diet

Kate’s weight loss journey began just under two years ago, when her health concerns started to become more serious. At 22 stone, Kate was overweight and decided she needed to do something to be healthier.

This means people who want to lose weight can still eat their favourite foods, but healthier versions of them.

Examples of these are the sugar free Salted Caramel Pecan Barista Syrup to put in a cup of coffee, low sugar Strawberry Jam to put on toast, and low-calorie Garlic Mayo to pair with a salad.

Speaking about her weight loss transformation, Kate said: “I think my determination came from realising that I had to do something about my weight before it was too late.

“I was in my 40s and I thought that if I don’t do something now, I never will.


“So, I dug deep and kept reminding myself why I started the journey.”

Kate credits The Skinny Food Co for feeling much healthier and happier in her body.

She said: “The reason I kept putting off losing the weight was that I didn’t find a healthy eating plan that suited me.

“I also had mobility issues due to a car accident a few years ago resulting in my back giving me a lot of problems, so I wasn’t exercising as much.

“I joined a gym and actually enjoy swimming and exercising now and I have a routine in place that includes a bit of everything I like to do.”

For other people wanting to become healthier or lose weight, Kate advised: “Stop putting it off.

“Start with little changes and healthy food swaps, then keep going.

“You will have the odd day where it doesn’t go quite to plan and bumps in the road happen but once you start seeing progress it’s amazing motivation, and every day is a new day, full of new determination.”
