Budding bakers across London have been enjoying the return of rhe Channel 4 baking competition The Great British Bake Off over the past few weeks.
Veteran judge Paul Hollywood has appeared on the show since it began way back in 2010 on the BBC.
Paul, 55, brings his baking knowledge to the show and has an impressive resume as a celebrity chef under his belt.
Although the idea of eating cake and bread all day sounds like a dream job to many, Paul has opened up about the fact that his job does come with some unique challenges.
Speaking to Sunday People last month, Paul confessed that his job has been known to lead to difficult weight gain.
Speaking of this year’s series, Paul said: “I wanted to take a lot of the cakes home for lunch.
“If I go back and carry on eating and eating and eating, then it’s a good indication that I like it. That’s my rule.”
Given the amount of delicious bakes Paul enjoyed he confessed to putting on 12 pounds in the tent when filming for the current series.
“Prue put on a pound! A pound during Bake Off? That’s ridiculous,” Paul added.

Paul went on to describe that this weight gain was particularly hard to bear given that a new fitness regime led to him losing an impressive one and a half stone before entering the tent.
“All I wanted to do was go home to try and lose the weight again! I am p***ed off this year for the first time about it, because I was doing really well,” he said.
“Lockdown was doing me good, not bad. But my exercise regime changed when I was in Bake Off because I wasn’t allowed to leave the bubble to cycle.”
The Great British Bake Off continues on Channel 4 tonight at 8pm.
