An area landmark has been transformed by a local fitness community into a place where people of all walks of life and fitness levels can go to improve their lives.
“Mind, body and spirit will be impacted when people take charge of their own health,” 3D Fitness owner Norris Morgan said. “There is a place for everyone at 3D Fitness. Here, people will find an encouraging community that is accepting and that spurs them along in their journey.”
Morgan’s gym, which was formerly called Key Fitness and located near Food Lion, has a new name and has moved to 117 W. Church St. in Nashville, where Ward Drug previously was located.
The move provided the gym with 1,600 more square feet of space. In addition to 24-hour member access to cardio and weight training equipment, 3D Fitness offers Yoga, Step, HIIT & Fit and Go Insane classes that are included in the $50 Advantage and $40 Basic level memberships.
“The biggest difference between the $50 Advantage and the $40 Basic Membership is access to Fit3D scans with the Advantage. These scans are a great way to get a baseline and then re-scan so you can see your progress as you work to achieve your goals,” Morgan said. “During the scan, the member simply stands on the Fit3D technology platform while it scans and provides an accurate read on body fat, composition, measurements, balance and posture.”
The gym also offers an Elite Membership. Located downstairs in the same building, the Elite Studio is where members engage in group circuit training and Muay Thai Kickboxing. Participants in BodySculptHR wear a heart monitor while doing 45-second exercises, aiming to stay in the fat-burning zone for approximately 12 minutes during the workout.
“We invite the community to come out for a tour or to try a class for free the first time,” Morgan said.
Norris Morgan has been helping people get fit for more than 20 years. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Health and Wellness with an in-depth study of exercise physiology, herbs and spirituality. He is certified as a personal trainer by the National Personal Training Association (NPTA).
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Jan. 3, 2022. 3-D Fitness will also begin its “2022: New Year, New You” body fat loss challenge on the same day.
