Since moving to Los Angeles five years ago, Londoner Adele’s life has changed beyond measure.
The Easy On Me singer – who is worth an estimated £130m – owns three lavish estates in one of the most exclusive enclaves in Beverly Hills worth an estimated £22m, with neighbours including her best mates, Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie.
With her most recent single breaking chart records, the star of the moment will also be the subject of a two-hour interview with Oprah Winfrey next month, in which she’ll open up about her 2019 divorce from Simon Konecki, her incredible recent weight-loss, and raising her nine-year-old son, Angelo.
Her glamorous existence is a far cry from her early life on a central London estate.
But the notoriously private mum-of-one flies under the radar and is rarely snapped or spotted, unlike other celebrities in Tinseltown. Now, insiders lift the lid on her secret LA life and what the down-to-earth star – who has found new love with US sports agent Rich Paul – gets up to behind closed doors…
Legendary ‘wine nights’ and karaoke
Adele’s house parties are said to be “showstoppers” – in 2018, she planned, hosted and paid for her best mate Alan Carr’s wedding to Paul Drayton at her home.
The Chatty Man host said, “She did it all at her house. She sang with our first dance – it was amazing.”
And insiders say Adele loves to have all her mates over for what have become her infamous nights in.

He played the infamous villain on Hollyoaks but Brendan Brady soon turned into the good guy following his relationship with Ste Hay.
However in 2013 he left the Channel 4 show and has since appeared in Peaky Blinders, Gangs of London and Guardian’s of the Galaxy as the head riot guard.
A source says, “Adele’s wine nights are so popular that she’s spoken to Cameron [Diaz] – who has launched her own organic wine – about buying a vineyard together.
“She will often cook, then she and her pals will get silly, talk late into the night, and have been known to belt out a karaoke Beyoncé song or two!”
Hiding out in darkened rooms…
She’s previously labelled herself a “bit of a recluse” and insiders say Adele is very careful to live out of the spotlight – steering clear of celeb hotspots and choosing more discreet haunts so she can let her hair down.

The source says, “Adele’s good at finding secret or undercover haunts where she won’t be bombarded by fans and paps.
“Some of her favourite restaurants in LA are hole-in-the-wall places like her go-to sushi spot, Kiyono, and Wi Jammin, a small family-owned Caribbean restaurant she loves.
“She and Rich recently went to a place in Koreatown called Maze Rooms Escape – recommended by her British pal and neighbour, James Corden – where you can play interactive games in darkness, which she absolutely loved, especially as no one could see who she was!”
Private gyms, puppy walking and Pilates
Adele recently credited her exercise “obsession” for her 7st weight loss, revealing that she often works out three times a day.
The star frequents a small, private gym in West Hollywood for her rigorous morning workouts with her personal trainer, Gregg Miele.
She is also said to enjoy Pilates sessions with Robbie Williams’ wife, Ayda Field, as well as swimming, boxing and hiking.

A source says, “Adele loves going on sunset walks with her mates and she’ll choose her trail depending on her mood, with her favourites being Franklin Canyon and the Santa Monica Mountains.
“She recently got two new puppies who need a lot of exercise, so she enjoys taking them out and doing doggy playdates with Robbie and Ayda’s pup, Buddy.
“She’s joked about having to carry the dogs when they get tired and tells her mates back home in England that she’ll become a true Los Angeleno if she ever gets a doggy stroller!”
Playdates with the Cordens
Adele’s son, Angelo, is said to be close to comedian James Corden’s son Max, 10 – both of whom attended a NBA game alongside the singer and boyfriend Rich last week – with the boys enjoying regular playdates together.
A source says, “Max and Angelo get on really well and Adele will invite Julia [Carey, James’ wife] over for a natter while the boys run wild and play in the garden, riding their bikes and skating.
“The kids have grown up together and Adele loves the fact that they can connect over their UK roots, which gives them a special bond.”

The star is “very involved” with Angelo’s school, where he is said to have a close-knit group of friends.
The source adds, “Adele enjoys having Angelo’s mates over after school and being a regular mum – jumping in the pool with them or making them toasties while they play computer games.
“As he goes to a small private school in Beverly Hills, quite a few of his classmates have high-profile parents so he’s not treated any differently, which is what Adele wanted.”

Sheep placenta facials and infrared saunas
She’s been wowing fans with her new look since shedding 7st and showed off her flawless complexion in a recent Q&A on Instagram.
And insiders tell Closer that Adele has become a devotee of celebrity skincare guru, Yonat Zilberg, who was recommended to her by close pal Nicole Richie.
A source says, “Adele’s never been a fan of all the high-end beauty treatments, but ever since Nicole gifted her a voucher for a facial with Yonat, she’s been hooked.
“Yonat’s spa is tucked away so she can sneak in and out without being snapped. She goes every couple of weeks for treatments and has become hooked on the facials which use her famous serum and facials, which is made from sheep placenta.
“Adele has regular massages, too, which are a must, given her intense workout regime.
“She’s also a huge fan of infrared sauna pods, floatation therapy and drip therapy [where vitamins are given through the veins]. These all aid fitness recovery as well as help her to relax and destress, which has helped to curb her anxiety.”
